Kids `R` Kids of Castle Hills was recently awarded the prestigious PLATINIUM award from Kids `R` Kids International. This is the highest honor a school can receive! It is based on a cumulative score of two unannounced "quality assurance" reviews. On our recent visit, the school not only scored high enough to achieve platinium status but scored a perfect 100 percent.
Here is how the process works: In addition to standard licensing visits and/or requirements by the state, KRK also assigns each school a "Quality Assurance Representative." The rep visits the school and spends about two days. S/he reviews over 1,500 items. This list includes but is not limited to: approximately 50 things that are checked in each classroom, staff files and qualifications (updated CPR, etc), student files to licensing standards, checking each bit of medication in the school and matching it appropriate paperwork, teachers` performance in the classroom, curriculum delivery, diapering procedures, safety drills in compliance, inspections, buses in order... the list goes on and on.
Again, scores from the two unannounced yearly visits are combined for award status categories of: Platinium, Gold, Silver, or no award. This award is valid for one year and is reviewed annually. As we have just celebrated our one year anniversary in the Fall of 2009, this is our first year to be eligible for an award.
We are so proud of our teachers, staff, and managers. This is just another example of how Kids `R` Kids of Carrollton strives for excellence everyday in our classrooms and throughout our facility. Our parents tell us frequently that our staff and the level of our customer service exceed their expectations. We hope you will tour soon and decide for yourself that Kids `R` Kids is the place for your family as well.
